Honeybee Gallery Launches with Anne's Art

Fellow artist, Jason Messinger, author of the Artists of Chicago Blog recently posted a lovely review of my work, you can read it here. Jason is a man of many talents, among them ceramic sculpture and writing he also curates shows here in the Chicago area.

My Dog Art Feature on the Swanky Pup!

We've received some wonderful blog love in the last 2 months, most recently from the Swanky Pup, a blog written by two sisters-in-law with a mission to feature the best, most stylish and innovative dog-products and services available. I'm honored they included my  Paintings, Prints and Custom Pet Portraits among their favorites. I received other mentions by the talented Mrs. B. Andi Butler of Gee That's Swell and the Dogster Blog, (Dogster is one of the top 5 pet destination sites out there) when I did my Holiday Give Away back in December.

Dogs Rule Fat Book Auction!

Back in July I blogged about the pages I was creating for the Dogs Rule Fat Book. This project was a collaboration of 13 dog artists who each contributed an original work of art.

Lost in Translation...German Pet Portrait Press!

I am represented by The Dogs-Gallery (Ihr Hund Als Kunstwerk) in Germany, they just sent me this press clipping from "location-magazin" of the WAZ in Essen. They also mentioned a new connection with a gallery in Berlin...so perhaps soon I'll be painting more European Pups...!  

Chicago Dog Magazine Feature!

I'm very excited to be a featured Pet Portrait Artist in the premiere issue of Chicago Dog Magazine! My paintings of Oliver, Scruffles and Nel were the editor's picks...this is Oliver's second feature in a national dog magazine, he was also my featurted portrait in Modern Dog Magazine.
