This is a Holiday card that I designed for Cardways.com (formerly 4YourSoul.com) You can buy and personalize it and they mail from their factory to your recipient...pretty neat.
Christmas Cookies!
Yesterday I baked homemade Christmas cookies and decorated them. My favorite Holiday childhood memories are baking with my Mom spending hours decorating all the cookies with my brother and mixing really great shades of icing...I think this is probably where my palette developed. ...just wrapped them all up for gifts...warm and tasty holiday wishes to you all!
Holiday Open Studio
Well the first Open Studio was wonderful...thanks to all who came! It was a lovely afternoon with great company and treats. I couldn't have done it without Rich...we really hustled to get things put away and organized and he was the best host...not only keeping Alice and Izzy in line but keeping all the kids who came happy and occupied, and greeting our guests. I'll be set up through the holidays if you still need to shop. Remember studios visits are always welcome by appointment.

One door closes...
Well...it's all over now, and we breath a sigh of relief. On Monday we sold our old house on Oakley. Only memories will remain, the developer will be sending in the wrecking ball any day now. Apparently you can get a permit in Chicago to tear down a house before you even own it, yikes!
So yes, one door closes and another opens and there is the smell of fresh bread in the air...(from the bread factory across the street from our new house)...and my first Open Studio on Washtenaw on Sunday...ready or not!
My Art On Cingular Phones!
At long last...(over a year later!) you can download my images for your cell phone if you have a Cingular account. There are over 70 images, but only a handful seem to be out there so far, you can search under "Shop Ringtones and More" then under graphics search for 'Feldhaus'. Eventually they should also be available with other Carriers such as Verizon, Sprint, Alltel and more...
A Facelift for my Website!
this is only temporary until i really make the big changes i have been dreaming about...but it does look BETTER...and i finally have some new work posted and it's all available for sale.... still many more changes to make..but it's 4:14am and we leave at 8am to go to myMother's for Thanksgiving..guess i'll be sleeping on the way. i built this site back in 1999/2000 on used pagemill software i purchased on ebay. it has just grown into a monster over the years, i just kept adding, now it's time to lighten the load, that seems to be a reoccuring theme for me these days.
wishing you a lovely holiday - i have so much to be thankful for this year, i am truly blessed.
